Romantic property with immensely pleasant staff and magnificent location in the center of everything. Spotless rooms with a sufficient sized bathroom! Such great overall experience.

The rooftop garden bar offered a nice spot to unwind after a long day. The decor reflected a personal touch that blended well with the quaint atmosphere.
Breakfast left much to be desired, considering the lack of variety and freshness, especially with items like cold cuts and canned fruit salad. The Budget Double Room was clean, but the layout was poorly designed. The AC was far from the bed, leading to uncomfortable heat at night. Noise was an annoyance, coming from the nearby rooftop garden and other guests' activities, which detracted from the overall comfort.

Central location, good local restaurants- good prices, local people very friendly. Windows double glazed, good as the hotel is on the main street and you can hear everthing if the windows are open, great for people watching at the end of the day from the bedroom window if you are in the front of the building. You even get to drive to the hotel to drop of your luggage which is an experience in a medieval city with narrow streets

The service was simply wonderful; so friendly and helpful! The breakfast was also much better than I had expected. Good quality and broad selection.
The door locks are old style so it can be annoying when locking/unlocking your door, but you will probably forget about it as soon as you're greeted by the staff every morning.

The charming staff were helpful, assisting with my luggage and providing excellent recommendations. The room was spacious and tastefully decorated, overlooking a picturesque cobblestone street. Breakfast was particularly nice with fresh, homemade cakes and a lovely rooftop garden where I enjoyed fine views of the sunset.
Stairs could be challenging.

Everything was perfect, including pleasant staff and stunning location in the Center of Volterra. Location: the hotel was adjacent to Tuscany for Andrea Bocelli's opera in Lajatico, and square. Also, an ancient roman theatre was at a short distance...

The Erturia staff were very friendly, competent and helpful. The location in central Volterra is unbeatable. The buffet breakfast is very good. Our very small double room was clean and quiet, but the view was of the next-door wall. The bathroom was good except that the shower is very, very small. I woul recommend this hotel for people wanting to stay in the city center, but I'd not recommend the room we had. No a/c; didn't ask for a fan because the temperature was ok.

Charming atmosphere and attentive staff.
Navigating the steep staircase to access the hotel was frustrating. The breakfast room felt claustrophobic, lacking natural light and variety in food options, disappointing for a 3-star hotel. The noise from the rooftop garden made it difficult to relax during the night, impacting our overall comfort.

Exellent location. Cosy atmosphere. Good internet connection.
Bad luck with the room. Get probably the worst room of the otherwise cosy hotell. Old, damp, smelly carpet on floor.
